Steadycase Courtroom Practice

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026 · Steadycase is a product line of AlbusWorks LLC.

The short version: the game has no accounts, and playing it never requires you to give us anything. Your settings, scores, and progress are stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us. If you choose to ask for our free guide, we receive the email address you type and nothing else. We may use privacy-conscious website analytics or advertising attribution to understand how people find the game and whether our outreach is working — but that never includes what you do inside the game. We deliberately collect as little as practical.

1. What we don’t collect

Steadycase Courtroom Practice is a static website and a browser game. We do not require an account, and we do not receive, transmit, or store your gameplay. What you do in the game — the modes you pick, the calls you make, your scores — stays on your device and is never tracked or sent to us. The one thing we ever ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to request our free guide; you can play every case, every mode, and every pack without giving us one. For website traffic and advertising measurement, see section 4.

2. What stays on your device

The game uses your browser’s local storage to remember, on your own device only:

You can erase all of it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. If you do, the game simply starts fresh.

3. What is collected, and by whom

4. Analytics and advertising attribution

We may use privacy-conscious website analytics and advertising-attribution tools to understand traffic, measure campaigns, and decide which outreach is useful — for example, to learn that someone who clicked one of our ads went on to unlock a pack. This measures visits to the website and its pages, not your gameplay. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use any contact information for ad targeting unless we first update this policy and obtain any consent required by law or platform rules.

5. If we sell content packs

We may offer optional paid content packs in the future. If we do, checkout and payment will be handled by a third-party merchant of record — we will never see your payment card — and we will update this policy to name the provider and describe what they collect before purchases open.

6. Children

The game and this site are intended for law students, self-represented adults, and other adult learners, and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your choices and rights

You can play the entire game without giving us any information. To remove everything the game has stored, clear this site’s data in your browser. If you have contacted support, you may request a copy or deletion of that correspondence at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy law.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
